Railroad Software and MIS Activities


ZETA-TECH Associates is a technical consulting company with significant experience in the area of software development for railways and rail systems. This includes extensive experience in the development of costing software, databases, inspection software, and maintenance planning systems for railways and transits.

ZETA-TECH Associates has been active in the development of integrated transit, commuter and freight railroad databases, costing systems, and planning systems for many years. It has developed and implemented planning software and/or database systems for virtually all of the major railways in North America including the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway, Burlington Northern Railroad, Conrail, CSX Transportation, Canadian Pacific Railway, New York City Transit Authority, Norfolk Southern Corporation, and Southern Pacific Transportation Company. It has also performed worked in every major continent of the world including Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, South America and North America.

The southern New Jersey office of ZETA-TECH Associates contains ZETA-TECH Associates’ railroad library, which contains extensive data on railway operating, costing, and maintenance. ZETA-TECH has an extensive array of personal computer systems and system networks.
