MOWIS Information Systems

Maintenance of Way Information Systems include a wide range of data bases, track charts, inspection reporting and defect/condition monitoring that provides maintenance officers with accurate and current information about their track structure, its condition, and its maintenance history. Maintenance of Way Information Systems such as ZETA-TECH's MOWIS offers this information at several levels of detail, ranging from system overview level for senior management to detailed listing of all defects and conditions, as well as maintenance history and activities. These systems allow for the generation and close out of work orders to direct maintenance activities efficiently and effectively and provide for interactive graphically viewing of the information. It also allows for direct interface with a range of inspection devices and systems to include hand held PDA based inspection devices to vehicle based inspection system such as track geometry cars, rail test vehicles, etc.
